Important News Regarding DriveELD’s Availability

As you may have seen in our announcement on December 22nd, 2021, please note that we no longer sell the DriveELD product starting December 24th, 2021 and it will not be supported after March 31st, 2022.

We understand that this announcement may be unwelcome news to you and your organization. This decision is difficult for us, however due to unforeseen market conditions it is no longer viable for DriveELD to support this product. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate your understanding.

We refer you to HOS 247 a company that provides service similar to DriveELD and you may use your current PT-30 device with HOS 247.  We have worked with them to create a referral program specifically for DriveELD customers.

Why is DriveELD ending service?
We understand that this announcement may be unwelcome news to you and your organization. This decision is difficult for us, however due to unforeseen market conditions it is no longer viable for DriveELD to support our product. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate your understanding. This notice will direct you to some options you have to help you minimize the impact of this product discontinuation on your company and your customers.  To this end, we have some suggestions to help you evaluate options for a replacement ELD product.
Is there a recommendation DriveELD can offer as an alternative?
DriveELD recognizes our broad customer base will have a variety of preferences for how to make this important transition with their business, therefore there is no single transition approach that can be recommended to meet everyone’s unique needs.  It will be up to you to decide which options best service your needs. 
Can you refer me to an alternate ELD provider?
We have coordinated with an ELD provider as one option for customers looking for a similar service to DriveELD. We refer you to HOS 247 a company that provides service similar to DriveELD. We have collaborated with them to create a referral program specifically for DriveELD customers; if you would like to learn more about this option visit HOS 247.  You are not required to transfer to HOS 247 and you can explore other ELD providers to find one that suits your needs before DriveELD is discontinued on March 1, 2022.

If I switch to another ELD provider, will my in-cab device still work?
DriveELD uses a PT-30 device to connect to the driver’s mobile phone. The referral ELD provider uses the same equipment, so that it can be re-configured to support your current device and work with their ELD service. You will have to check with all other providers if they support the PT-30 device.
What do I do with my PT-30 device?
You can keep your PT-30 device to use with an alternate ELD service. You do not need to return your device.
How long will DriveELD support the customer base?
DriveELD will continue with customer support until the End-of-Support date.
What happens if I don’t get my logs in time?
DriveELD customers will have access to their accounts to access ELD log data until September 30, 2022.
What about the ELD data that is recorded by DriveELD?
DriveELD customers will have access to the ELD date until September 30, 2022. Customers will have access to their ELD data via their account login.
Can I get a refund?
Customers who have an unused portion of a subscription after the End-of-Service on March 31, 2022 are eligible for refunds. Subscribers will automatically be reimbursed for the remaining portion of the subscription and the funds will be sent to the account holder on record.
Do I need to do anything to terminate my service on the End-of-Support Date?
No, there service will automatically be terminated on March 31, 2022.
I forgot my login information (password or ID). How do I regain access?
The DriveELD has a support page to regain access.
